Anonymous whispered, "I find it weird that they devoted a whole episode on a possible Jess/Nick romance and then they just dropped it."

I don’t know if that’s true. I think they decided to make it more subtle. There’s hints of their tension through other peoples eyes. For example, Paul called it out in the Thanksgiving episode when he asked if Nick and Jess ever dated. Also, in this last episode when Julia told Jess that Nick would come running to her. It hasn’t been dropped, we’re just in for a bit of a slow burn.
